Standalone Mode

In standalone mode, the Modalix DevKit runs as a self-contained edge device. It receives data from sensors, cameras, storage, or network interfaces, processes it locally, and sends results over the network.

Use this section when the DevKit is not installed in a host machine as a PCIe card.

Configure Standalone Mode

Configure the services and interfaces commonly needed when the DevKit runs on its own.

• Network SetupFind the DevKit IP address, switch between DHCP and static profiles, or share a host-machine network connection.
• Configure NVMe StorageUse sima-cli to format, mount, and remount the NVMe drive.
• Configure MIPI InterfacesSelect the matching camera overlay, boot the DevKit, and test with libcamera.
